Welcome to London Pioneer College
LPC is a training provider based in Barking near Barking Station. We train people to pass the Life in the UK Test and conduct speaking, reading and writing tests at all levels for people applying to settle in UK or become British Citizens. We do A1 Spouse Tests, ESOL with Citizenship, B1, B2 for students and work permits as well. We also do security and Health and Safety courses.

Our aim has always been to educated people to improve their skills and qualifications so that they have an opportunity to improve their standards of living and quality of life. People who have education and qualifications have more opportunities for better job prospects and can follow a career path.
B1 Test
The B1 English Test is equivalent to Entry 3, which LPC has been conducted over the last few years. We have prepared and helped many candidates for the B1 Test and have the facilities, resources and teaching staff to help people whose language skills are at a low level but also have a fast track route for candidates whose Speaking and Listening skills are very good and can book a test within a couple days after assessment.
B1 / Entry 3 is just the level of English which Home Office will accept. Before 28 October 2013 Home Office did not set a minimum level which they will accept from applicants but now all eligible applicants must complete B1 level test which is intermediate or upper intermediate level.
For most awarding bodies Home Office will accept just the Speaking and Listening certificate but for some they require the full set - Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. For more information please contact us.
We have various options and suitabilities to meet peoples requirements and work around their timetable. We can book exams according to your needs and have an option to obtain certificate within 5 days if this service is requested.
Life in the UK Test
To satisfy Home Office requirements from 28 October 2013 and to demonstrate 'Knowledge of Language and Life in the UK'.
1. You must pass the computer based 'Life in the UK Test'
AND
2. You must pass B1 English Test
YOU MUST PASS BOTH TESTS.

We have a number of inspections throughout the year as well all quality assurance procedures both internal and external to ensure our policies and procedures are in line with current regulations.

LPC trains people to prepare and pass the Life in the UK Test for people applying for settlement and British Citizenship
Do Literacy Level 2 which is equivalent to GCSE
If you have recently settled in UK or have not passed GCSE English then come and register with us and enrol on a flexible, enjoyable course based around your time to obtain your Literacy Level 2 qualifications which you can use to apply for further or higher education or professional qualifications.
