An unforgettable journey into the world of Viking cuisine. This looks into the sensory culinary experiences of the 7th to 11th century in the north of England. Experience outdoor demonstrations of cooking from start to finnish over an open fire, learn about historical ingredients, and to follow in the future we will be offering the opportunity to savor some unique authentic dishes crafted using ancient techniques. This includes fare within a mead hall fit for a Kings feast through to lower status foods. Interactive educational talks for the foods eaten for different seasons and also for different social status'. Passed bookings has included Great British Food Festival, Bamburgh Castle, and Medieval Festivals such as Traquair House.
